there is a realy big group from my working thats planning on mobing up there.... they invited me, and said the shee could ride along one one of the trailers..... but then they said they plan on arriving saturday round 12 or 1, there is no way they will get in.... i even told them that, but they didnt believe me.... that place will reach maximum occupancy early early saturday.... they didnt want to listen though.... no way im driving 5 hours to turn around and drive home...

Damn! They can get in the beach for 5 bux. If they stay, and the Rangers catch them.. they're getting fined.
Rangers were cracking down hard on that last summer & I think those are $250 fines.
One of my friends works in Santa Barbara, he's rolling to Pismo Friday afternoon.. He's leaving the truck outside, we'll haul his Raptor to the beach.

If I'm correct, they allow 1000 reservations and they're all sold out. Dunes might not be full, they'll be crowded.
And without a reservation they can wave you goodbye out the dunes.

They WILL be turning people away. Ive recieved confirmation
that all reservations ARE full. In January of 2008 they decreased
the number of people allowed to occupy the dunes due to closure
of certain areas for snowey plover mateing season. Larger areas
have been designated for eniromental protection...the down side
is that less people are allowed on the dunes. Thats just fact.

If you stick to the left of the dunes you can actually take one of the jumps & fly over the fences & ride smooth fluffly sand.. Just saying...
