Oregon Dunes Feb 18- 21

What a kick and NO people. Got to Winchester bay on sat and had the dunes to ourselves, excellent steep long pull dunes. sun went to spinreel and had a blast....right wrist is really sore......oops forgot to mention I flipped the banshee on top of me and f**ked up my wrist. Black and blue.......but, wrap it and ride. mon went down to boxcar/hauser dunes all chopped up and really rough, loaded up and went back to W. bay......excellent again, not a sole out there and had the whole place to ourselves....smooth. Tues - took a 2 hour ride this am and had to leave, 4 days of riding hard and we were beat. But Ride The Dunes and I will remember this trip for a looooog time.

im going to coos bay this weekend. march 18-19. it should be fun. hope your wrist gets better soon...... booboo gots a booboo.... lol

Anyone planning a trip to florence or W. Bay this coming weekend? If the rain dies down i think i might head over to florence on saturday. I was at W. Bay and Florence memorial day and it was such a nice day for riding. Got any plans anytime soon for over there?

i wish i could. ive got a shit load of fuel left over from sand lake memorial weekend since we got kicked out. im heading to idaho this weekend then next weekend ill be in the coos bay area. the weekend after that im free. then the weekend after that ill be in lincon city. i want to ride florence bad, i havent been there since thanksgiving and alot of the guys i ride with have never ridden there.

i wanna go to christmas valley soooo bad. you dont ever hear much of it. a cupple of my buddys have been there and say its perdy cool. it looks huge on google earth.

it is a bad ass place to ride, everything is really steep. The only three problems their are, the cops are assholes, your stuff gets really dirty and their are port o potties their only for memorial and labor day.

It was huge until half of it got closed for a sand flea, the consistency of the "sand" which is actually ash from when crater lake bust a nut is very fine. It is still about 10,000 acres.
