| I just got my cylinders bored over and they wanted to put wsm in there, did a search and found that a couple people had trouble with them. check out this thread: http://forums.everything2stroke.com/...s-pistons.html The guy at the shop said hes never had one come back in 4 years. I opted for wiseco, been around forever. Wiseco made in usa. Wsm taiwan I believe, although I heard they were based in Arizona.

| ived used them an a few "general" 4 stroke rebuilds before trx 200sx, trx 300 4x4, and a yamaha timberwolf. As far as I know all those machines are still running even after a few years, I know the a fact that the 200sx is sitll running after 3 years and 4 kids flogging on it all the time. Seems to be a decent piston for general riding, but I still wouldnt use them in my race machines.

| I have used them with perfect results, no problems. One thing to remember is they are a "cast" piston which means you have to set the tolerance closer than a forged piston. |

| eve n if they are decent ..why take the chance on your engine ? is it worth it if theres a relibility issues long term to only save 10$ on a 100 dollar kit ? the only reason any mechanic shop or builder recommneds them is because they are more affordable for them and an easy sell (dealers get these wsm piston for around 55$ btw) ....they are not as good and proven as wiseco prolites,i dont care what european country there made in... i will put my trust in american quality from mentor Ohio at the wiseco plant .the piston is the heart of the engine you wouldnt run a chinese pacemaker in your own body would you ?
