| but i would say try to get a bit bigger main jet and see what that does, if it doesnt rev out im thinking its too lean, or maybe even to rich, see what pulling the choke does for the top end.

| ok so my girlfriends uncle was adjusting the timing and since the key is broken the power is on all the time. so sparks started shooting out to the screw driver. we should have disconnected the battery. well part of the stater looks fried and now i get no spark. i was looking to see if there is some kind of ignition fuse but i don't think there is one. so i went on ebay to get a new stater. i found one for $35 new and won it but i can't seem to get the transaction going. he hasn't told me how much to send him for shipping. I can't be bothered with people like this. on bikebandit.con it is over $300 and i can't find it anywhere else. i've been told that no aftermarket company makes it. There are some places that repair them but so far i've seem prices of $120 to fix it. i don't think so, i'll never pay that much to fix it. i paid $150 for the whole quad. so basically i need to find somewhere to get the part for a reasonable price. thanks. |

| well how long ago did you win the stator off of ebay? id give the guy a couple days and he should send an invoice for your payment.....and also if he was adjusting the timming why would sparks be shooting out, like what was he messing with?

| Finding a stator SUCKS! One of the three parts wound in wire is burnt out also the excting coil has a chunk taken out of it where you can see the inside wire windings. So i want to replace it all. |
