I used to work for a ski-doo/arctic cat/yamaha dealer and ski-doo was definetly the worst on parts and service but they made by far the best and most reilable sled. Polaris wasted so much money on advertising this year and all they did was waste their time bashing in yamaha, arctic cat and ski-doo because their new sled has nothing good for them to advertise Polaris hasnt made a real sled since 1975. Back on topic... if the sled is in good ridable shape then you cant beat it for 350$.

| the 440 is a pretty well all around sled, your not going to get a 110mph out of it but they are good on gas and have been a very good motor for quite a few years now. parts are fairly cheep and you dont have to worry about expensive gas shocks and things like that, un less you are looking at the XCR model. they are a fan cooled so might want to stray awan from some of the early spring riding, but all in all i would say you are getting a hell of a deal. if you have any more ?'s feel free to ask.(i'm a polaris mech.)

| I never even seen the difference between liquid cooled sleds and fan cooled sleds. I rode a ski-doo mxz 550f one day in like 45 degree weather when all the snow was melting and it ran fine.

| ive noticed that my old ski-doo 500 formula sl is a fan cooled and it is a bitch to start and i just got a new mxz 600 2001 (not the rev chassis) and that thing is really easy to start.
