When I had my Yamaha SXViper it was the middle cylinder that runs hotter. The middle cylinder had less surface area for cooling than the other 2 cylinders. From what you are saying I would have to run my banshee with 2 different jets. I don't think it has anything to do with load on one side of the motor or the other. The fact is the middle cylinder is going to run hotter than the other 2 cylinder at least that was the case with my yamaha.

Well at least for my sled and any other ski-doo ive ever owned, i dont know about polaris or yamaha theres 3 seperate cylinders and 1 head. The Coolant hose goes right into the middle of the head and the middle cylinder runs the coolest. The PTO side runs hotter on any twin cylinder motor ive ever owned and it runs a little bit hotter on my sled because its spinning a belt and the clutch is constantly engaging and disengaging. The Magneto side runs right in between because it has the weight of the flywheel on it.
