| i have a manuel but it does not cover splitting the crank the only thing it shows in regards to bearings is replacing the outer sets it shows how to pull the brgs off each end of crank . if i took it apart i would have marked it but as it sits i have a crank in a box lol!! |

| your best bet is to find a shop to do it, un less you have a 50ton press and a truing stand. the crank has to be trued, i think the service limit is around .005 runout. any more then that and your going to tear your new bearings up and be right back where you are now. also thoes motors were known for sucking base gaskets out of them, you can get a copper one from an after market company.

| ok the engine is together next question is the stock jetting on this sled is 400 400 420 what was in this sled was 390 390 410 one size down i am going to put it back to stock but which cyl gets the bigger jet problem is i did not take this thing apart so it is like a jigsaw puzzle to me lol |

| The middle cylinder gets the bigger jet because it runs hotter being that it has a hot cylinder on both sides. I believe correct me if I am wrong. Not sure however what the stock jetting should be.

| I think its the PTO (clutch side) cylinder that gets the bigger jet. It has the most load on it and I know for a fact that its the PTO side on twin cylinder models. For a liquid cooled triple the middle would run the coolest because it doesnt have the weight of a flywheel or the weight of a clutch spinning on it. I would put the richest jet on the Clutch side. I know its like that on mine only i have say a 420 on PTO, 400 middle, and 410 MAG. I just used it as a theory and I put about 1500 miles on my sled so far and its still in one piece.

| O yea i know that the PTO side runs hotter because i have cylinder head temp and exhaust temp gauges on my vintage dragger.
