I ve been a sled a long time ago. But i havent driven one myself. Im in souther n ontario. lol. I t actually doesnt snow as much as you think.

Man i need to do alot of things. But cash is tight. My dad always tells me storys when at the farm they fixed up the ole kawi 350. lol He said it was a real junker. lol

kawi 350?? must have been a kawasaki Drifter, if memory serves me. I used to be a sled expert. in 1977 there were over 120 manufacturers of snowmobiles and 4 today. the 4 best survived well the 3 best and arctic cat...

Theres definetly more than 4 sled companies. Just 4 main ones. I just got another rare racing motor... 793cc hirth triple. It needs almost nothing but im going to tear it down and clean it up real nice then possibly sell it for 3,000$ or 4,000$. I found it in a barn :p

actually kawi never made a 350. they only made a 340, 440, and a 550. in 77 they made their first snowmobile that was called the sno-jet. then in 78-82(correct me if im wrong) they had the invader, intruder, and drifter in both 340 and 440. then in 82??(not sure) they had the interceptor 550. then after that i heard that they got out of snowmobiles. ohh and by no means were kawi snowmobiles crap, unless they had the shit beat out of them and were never taken care of. i say the suspension is like from the stoneage, but so was any suspension from that time. the only kawi i thoght didnt run too good was a drifter 440 free air, it had a single carb and the fuel pump was going to shit so it didnt go to good after about 45mph, it would just start shittin out after that speed.

deffinently...out of dirtbikes and quads nothing compares to sleds...being able to do 100+ mph and maintain that speed is awesome
