Default Rebuilding a 400

I'm a newbie to the Polaris's, got a 99 Scrambler 400, bought a top end rebuild kit as was getting coolant on plug when tried to start it, thought it was a head gasket. I pulled the head on it, when I went to cycle the piston over with the pull cord it was soaked with coolant. Drained a bunch of coolant from the started housing. Any ideas of what else I need to get? I already have the piston/gasket kit & carb rebuild kit, (FMF pipe & silencer, dial-a-jet & K&N coming next week) I just want to get it running before I spend anymore in it. I read somewhere about one getting coolant in the bottom end but can't find it now that I need to. Please help
