Default 1991 Polaris Indy 500

Hey whats up guys. I just got an Indy 500 given to me, but heres the problem. It started and ran but something in the engine is locking up. I dont know what it is without tearing it apart, at least this is what Im told the engine does I didnt personally see it. If the crank is scrapped I heard that polaris wants 700 bucks for the crank and Im not thinking Im going to do that. Does anybody around here have any engines or engine parts for sale? Have any of you guys piped these machines?
