| Polaris had there reverse on a cable...Thats how cheap they are. You know how many people stretched that cable and had there machine stuck in reverse or between gears? I know of about 10 out of the people I ride with. Its a good thing they licensed the SKI-DOO RER. Polaris has been behind the times for years Ski-doo and Artic cat have been playing with Direct drive for over 3-4 years Polaris just started working on it with the Fusion which is blowing up left and right. Stick up for them all you want but I would put money on a Ski-Doo or Artic cat to win everytime and I would probably be a millionaire in a month. Go look at the race results they struggle to get a 2nd place finish.

| i just went to a radar run today out on the lake hosted by a local artic cat dealer...it was pretty gay since it was only 500 ft. i was in the lead with a 78 mph run and an F7 had a 77...then with about 15 min left the F7 all of a sudden got an 82...now i dont care who u r but thats kinda odd! me and him were runnin the same amount and i kept beating him then all a sudden he gets a 82!!! that pissed me off! so i went over to the guy and said so how do u feel about winning by cheating...and he just laughed and walked away!!! that was so cheap! and oh yea i beat all the ski-doo's that were ther and the rest of the artic cats...it kinda funny but the F7 was owned by the host so he won a trophy that he bought! lol

| the thing is that most of the speedos can't be trusted, ski-doo's have been the closest i have seen over the years, polaris ones are about 4-5mph off all the time, GPS or the gun is the only way to go!, and the radar times for a run that is only 500' is a shitty way to test a sleds speed. your smaller displacement sled are geared to get up to speed quick to compencate for there lack of tourque. it's not completley crazy that a 500 could infact beat a 700.although it would be one shitty 700. i don't see it beating an F-7 but if set up right should hold it's own against a stock 600. my 800 xcr has a hard time beating a well set up 700 twin. is all about what each one is set up for and wether the guy doing it know's what in the hell he is doing.

| yea i kno but they set the whole thing up really stupid...the radar gun was in back and then u would take off then when you would get to a certain spot a guy would raise his hand so the cop would clock it! i thought it was really stupid! sorry i should have said that i was using my bros 700 xc sp in the radar run...my bad.

| We were draggin and top speed running all day on the lake today. Nothing beat me but there werent any machz 1000s out there. Im not sure if they will beat me in the top speed but they will in the trails. Banshee do you have some top speed numbers on that thing yet? I had the gearing tuned in last week for lakes and stuff because I got the REV for trails now and I was pushin 140mph today in the wet snow on pump gas. I havent put the cut heads and race fuel in it yet to run on a lake but im sure it will move pretty good. I blew the pants off of a polaris fusion and a yamaha rx1 with a bunch of crap on it. There was a modded F7 that was hanging with me to about 3/4 throttle then he started to fall behind. Supposedly theres a kid thats just finishing a formula z 670 with a turbo kit and all that stuff on it (well its what he says he runs a pretty nice mxz700 and his parents are rich as hell so maybe he isnt lying). Id like to run against something like that.
