Default Polaris Sleds Dominate!

i know that this stuff is from 2002 but the polaris snomobiles in every test from 600 - 800 in the 1/4 mile....polaris won every one of them for mph....the 600 even beat the ski dont's 800 and beat all the 700's except polaris's! that just proves to every body that Polaris dominates in snowmobiles!!!

What is from 2002??? where are you getting this information from. I have raced plenty of polaris 600's and they never even came close to being behind me or in front of me. I find it very hard to believe that a 600 beat an 800 that is really really really hard to believe

Please don't post things your not going to back up with proof. Please supply your source on this claim or I will close this thread in 24 hours

Ok i got the information from a polaris dealer in pardeeville, wisconsin these are from the 2002 sleds that this information came from.

these are the MPH that were recorded in the 1/4 mile runs. these arent correct but are what i remember so when i get home ill check them.

600's 700's 800's
1. Polaris 91.6 Polaris 94 Polaris 96
2. Ski-Doo 85.4 Ski-Doo 88 Artic Cat 94
3. Artic Cat 83 Yahmaha 86 Ski-Doo 89.1
4. Yahmaha 82 Artic Cat _ Yahmaha _

Artic Cat didnt make the 700 in 2002
Yahmaha didnt make an 800 in 2002 and i dont think they have yet

Thats why they have blanks

when i get home ill put up the real ones.

This looks like what I run into all the time riding with polaris riders. They say "wow that was awesome going down that straight away at 95mph" which doesn't make sense because I was passing them doing 85mph....

I owned a ski-doo 700 and an 800 in 2002 and I will tell you those numbers are way off. I never had any problems racing a polaris. As for polaris dominating, I am not sure what they are dominating but its not snowmobiles. Until the Fusion (or whatever its called)what great break through did they every come up with. The fusion I don't think even came out this year because it kept breaking. Sorry what you polaris dealer tells you and what is the truth is two seperate things, yeah what he tells you makes you feel warm and fuzzy about dropping 8g's on a sled but its called a sales pitch and if you believe what a sales person tells you then I got a deal on some swamp land for you.

well the info i got is on a poster so no its not a sales thing and the poster came from polaris industries...and they tested there sleds and had ski-doo and artic cat and yahmaha test them thereselves...just so ppl wouldnt think that they were lying...and i dont see whats so bad to you about polaris snowmobiles...i think they are awesome...and infact that fusion thing is the first yr. on a new chassis so that may be why...even though ive never herd that from anyone.

im thinkin bout gettin a polaris 600 switchback i think that would be a nice sled cuz there is always drifts around here it is insane.

Show me a picture of this poster. I'm pretty sure that polaris is the company that spent their whole advertising funds last year on bashing all the other compaines. Polaris hasnt made a decent sled since the 70s TXs. I know a few people in whistler canada that have fusions and they blew the motors at around 2000 miles because of a main bearing lubrication problem.

Ok so from what you believe to be the truth you think that the 600 is going to go 5.4mph slower than the 800? And like I said "Sales pitch" do you think polaris put that poster out just for show?

Here is something to believe in the 2002 points standings from the Pro-open I don't see polaris very high up the list there. Oh and the second link I post is were you can see that they didn't win a single race all year, they did come in 2nd but 2nd is still losing.

http://www.blairmorganracingteam.com...10&class_id=30

http://www.blairmorganracingteam.com...fm?series_id=7

If they were so fast in 2002 why couldn't they win races??? Don't say they didn't have good riders because they have a couple of the best riders.

To tell you the truth this post is stupid your talking about 2002 the rest of us are living in 2005. You keep believing what you want but if you ever step on a lake with me I will smoke you with my slow 600. Then just to show you want a real sled is made of I will pull the 2005 MachZ1000 out of the trailer and hand your ass to you. Sorry but you need to go to some drag races, there are barely anyone grass dragging polaris sleds, gee wonder why.

I'm done with this thread, see ya
