I don't know what to say about it sitting too tall or being tippy because I have never noticed that problem while trail riding. remember, these are not racing machines but excellent trail quads. A stage one kit from Ritter Cycle Racing will add atleast 10 horsepower on a 400 and about 8 on a 250. It made a huge difference on my 250. Mind you, it is not a race machine and I never claim it to be but it really boogies for what it is.
