| well i can tell about it!!! i just ported one about 2 months ago,it really woke that thing up big time !i m talking moving peels on pavement, but anyways ,heres what i know of theres probably alot more i dont : first off the sprocket and chain drive dual setups on them is ridiculous check that stuff over before each ride ,basically be loking for rear chain drive problems loose and constantly needs adjusted and a good lube helps wd40 worksa good it contains 60% kerosene. another problem is the little thermostate by the radiator over the head it malfunctions and you cant really tell until its too late (burns up aka seizure) check this the most often (coolant level) ge ta warpdrive temp gauge(35$)to be safe and run engine ice product (15$) in radiator too.also wit h the strange strut system polaris plagues its line up with your gonna notice play in the front end alot as far as near where the front wheels connect up ,it makes the quad "push" in corners and wallowy too ,plus being that its quite heavy doesnt help.not that you want it for this reason but, they can be a very fast 4x4 wit h a modified pipe and some porting easily beating out other equally displaced(cc size) 4 stroke bikes . ex" kodiak ,wolverine ,big bear,im not sure about the trail boss interchangeability ,but i have rode one it was a 250cc direct intake style (no reeds like your 350L) so id say very different, not nearly as good. not sure if trail boss came in a 350cc version

| thanks for the info. ill be sure to watch for those problems. mine has stickers on it saying not to modify engine or clutch, is that because the tranny is weak or are they just saying it for safety reasons |

its for liability ,do you think they want to pay for the damages when some dumbass rolls his 500 pound bike over on himself and dies because he wasnt satisfyed wit hthe stock power out put ? clutch isnt weak at all,its actually alot better than some new quads cvt setup and engages pretty damn goods for an old out of production polaris quad
