I have a Polaris 250 and I used to have major problems. It took 4 grand to make it reliable and fast.

Default I have a Scrambler

I have an 02 Scram 400 4x4. These are great machines, they are easy to work on. They are good in the mud because they are lighter than the heavy 4x4 machines and they have great power. The Oil injection system works great. The only porblem I have ever had with mine is the pull cord breaking, other than regular maintnace I have never had any problems and I beat on my machine.

my wife has a polariss 400 sport and loves it. i have had no problems with it so far.she rides it all over at silver lake, the big hills included and it rides smooth and goes up the dunes good. she had a 400 scrambler a few yrs ago, but sold it when she was pregnant with our 4th child. my brother nitrousbaby (on this site) has one for sale. there is something wrong wwith it, but it might be worth you looking into. send him a pm.

i've owned a few different polaris bikes and have nothing but good to say about them all...they'd go where alot of other fake 4wd (limited slip) quads would not.

The Scrambler 400 is a great machine. Stock it puts out about 36 horsepower but because it is heavy, it isn't the fastest thing out there. You can put a little work into them and get about 75 horsepower.
