Default Anyone here with a Scrambler?

I've got a 2002 Blaster that burned up and would like to get a Scrambler 400 to replace it. I'd like to know how you like it.

Personaly I would never buy a Polaris. I had a 400 Polaris Sport and hated it. They are heavy and I always had to work on it. Polaris is made for girlfriends and wives that just want to putt around and not have to shift gears.

I know that's the prevailing attitude. Don't get me wrong, I love my Yamaha's. But after the second top end on the Blaster and it's too small for my kid anyway, I'm just looking for something to putt around on and run in the snow. I have a 2000 Tblazer and it's been great. Ride it hard all winter and use it in the yard in the summer&
take the Banshees out when I really want to ride

Personally I would stay away from the polaris. I am against them in every way. There snowmobiles feel like they are going to fall apart going down the trail and besides the new 700 Sportsman which I have yet to ride or see I am not impressed with there lineup. If you still love the Yamaha why not get a Grizzly. That is the best of both worlds 4x4 with a sport motor in it, except for the fact that it is a 4-Stroke.

Personally I would get a Yamaha Grizzly or a Honda Foreman. Both of those in my mind are proven work horses.

What are you doing with the Blown up Blaster???

I know there are advantages to other brands and With 3 banshees, a Blaster, and 2 extra RZ engines on the shelf I'm not giving up on Yamaha. I just want something cheap that's a nice size with less moving parts than the other brands.
And the Blaster is inches away from being thrown in the Lake. I'd sell it in a heartbeat but I know with the blown engine I can't get anything for it and I don't feel like spending the money on it to fix it. I could part it out but the spot on the rack is taken.
I had a Banshee roller on ebay and some SOB bid on it but never paid. So the $500 I had marked for the Blaster project is going to be tied up while I sue this jerk. I'm REALLY tired of deadbeats and I'm really thinking of making an example out of this guy.
With over 800 transactions, 600+ feedbacks I only have 2 negs and 1 is from a deadbeat and the other is from a guy that did it out of spite after I left him a positive. I'm not going to risk getting a neg from another deadbeat when HE doesn't want to pay.

Hell yeah. Make a good example out of him. I hate people on ebay that run up a bid then back out. I had a guy pull a bid on something I was selling and his reason was he couldn't get ahold of me. He never even e-mailed me or nothing. I think he just wanted out after he bid. Keep us updated on what happens.

I think every auction should have a certain percentage of the fees to go toward tracking down and beating to a pulp deadbeat bidders.
I'll bet that alone would turn the economy around

I sold 3 A-Arms to a guy and he told me he was going to pay then he never did so I filed a NonPay Bidder and left Negative feedback. Then he left Negative feedback for me saying I lied about the arms and that they were junk. I think there should not be a chance in hell someone can leave a seller feedback until he pays for the item.

Where do you live and how much do you want for the blaster. Always looking for another toy to have around the house.

Send me an email direct and we'll talk. If I don't bail on the Blaster I might be interested in one of those YZ bottoms you have...
