| I had the same thing happen last year. Reverse gear ground down and took out everything in the chain case. The guy that had it before me thought it be cool to hit the gas in reverse, then slam in the lever to take the reverse out! Tool. Had I known that before, I would have had serious reservations on buying it...anywho... I had my RMK blow the chain case on the trail back from a ride. Sucked being towed in...so get yours looked at!! |

| ya i got to looking at it. and i figured out that it needed some adjustment and the gear inside the chain case wasnt fully getting into the place where it is to be needed(for lack of better words) so it would go 10 ft and then slid off the gear inside the chain case. si turned a tie rod type thing up and it got rid of it. thanks ne way. peace |

| same thing happened to my xc 800...all that needed to be done was re-adjusting the reverse level and moving over about a centimeter..
