| well i was lookin up sled dynos and the ones i've seen was just sled engines with the tranny off them measuring hp at the crank.. all i need is the rpm curve to setup the cvt so an engine dyno would be fine.

| ohh i c. ohh and remember you can cut your own weights to how heavy you want them and the shape (also changes how fast the clutch deploys) thats what my brother did with his zr600 and he said its awsome because you can get it to pull like hell compared to stock weights but you have to be careful to make sure all the weights are the same grams and that they are shaped perfectly the same or it will throw the ballance off and it will ruin your weights, bushings, whole clutch, ect...

| lol chances are i'll just buy them. the weights and springs sold seperatly are pretty cheap. i emailed hotseat about what weights and springs to run for a high rpm engagement. told them the estimated hp and what kind of track i'll be racing on.. a 6 grand engagement would probly rip pretty nice out of the hole...

| what are you running this on? and if you have too high of an enguagement you might just spin alot thotoo. you would just have to take different springs and weights and just trial and error. thats how i got my sled working for the sno-cross got it at 5500 for the holeshot, and it worked. i beat very very modded sleds with a kawi 340 invader which is stock cept the clutch work. and since it kicks in at about 5500 it workes pretty good for trail riding, but i might change it to the other spring so it kicks in at about 3500 for trails.

| i'll be running this one a clay track.. and i can say its like GLUE. now this isn't saying much but with my blaster and stock tires on it i had to pump them up to about 9 psi and it would be tached out off the start when i dumped the clutch in 2nd gear. never got a bog out of it but damn would have i to be over those bars keepin the front end down. and that was with the whole quad lowered down on struts... the few times i did get the tires to break loose nice my e.t. went way up. so if anything i want the real high engagement.. if its spinning to much i know of a pretty good tire to fix that. then well... from there i'll have to make the quad longer lol.

| yea the only thing to watch for is to keep your rpm's from going to high or you just might blow your motor, specially since it is a polaris hahahaha

| te he lol. nah it'll be alright.. in theory that engine should have a ton of R's to it. stroke is only 70 mm.. the rest of it is all bore.

| yea but well your talking about polaris remember. i own two of them so i know what they do. btw....wanna buy a trail boss 350L? motor has tons of power, its a work wheeler and you can break the tires loose on blacktop. it would be awsome for racing if you got rid of some of those 470lbs
