From my experience, a polaris is like a harly. An american made piece of crap. they don't stay together very well. A friend of mine had a 98 trail blazer. We always rode together. Everytime we rode, he broke/bent somthing. I rode my 98 kawasaki mojave (I was 10, yes it's a piece of shit) harder and I weighed more than him. My old rice burner just took the abuse. Anyway, I think a polaris would be fine for someone that will just ride around. But for the agressive rider, find a banshee. Not flaming polaris, just not a fan of them. And maybe they have improved since then. I might buy one if it's cheap enough. Hell I'd take that scrambler for a grand. Anyway just my $0.02
