Default 1998 Polaris Trail Boss 250 Carburetor

Do you think the 38mm TMX Flatside would be ok on my stock 250 trail boss? It actually only has been bored. Future upgrades would probably only be a pipe.

Eh, trust me, I know it's not a racing machine. It's just a reliable one. I've had it since 1998, it was stolen from me for 3 and a half years, and was recovered, and I'm still riding it. I'm not trying to turn this into a fast machine, because I already have something that will eat up any ATV that comes beside me. A twin turbo dodge steatlh (15G turbos, bored .060" over with slightly higher compression ROSS forged pistons, 550cc injectors, hotwired 255lph fuel pump, custom true dual exhaust (no cats/no mufflers), boost controller, all wheel drive/all wheel steering, pushing a little over 500 horsepower) See, I already have my fast ride, I just wanted to give my ATV a little more "ooomph".

Ok, I also need 2 front shocks for it. They are both busted. Any recommendations on those?

http://www.atvtires.com/GASshocks.arm.htm

Will those do ok? Contrary to popular belief about these 450 pound ATV's... I DO ride wheelies and do LOTS of jumps. I am VERY, VERY hard on my atv, and I cannot stress that enough. I can't be as hard as I want on it, because the PVT doesn't seem as tough as I'd like for it to. I can't really find any other shocks for it, unless you guys can find me some FOX shocks. I couldn't find it for a 98 trail boss on their site.

As for the carburetor, it's not so much about the extra power, it's just that I am getting a new carburetor for it, and figured I'd might as well go bigger and better. I just didn't know if 38mm was too big. I can get a 35mm, but it costs the same price on another web site.

well first off, what kind of power would you want out of the carb? top end? low end? cuz if you get big with it you might lose your low end power

Default Shee's trap 93mph in the 1/8th???????????

I'd like to see a 'lightly modded' banshee touch me from any speed. Stop, 10mph, 20mph, anything.

When do lightly modded banshee's trap 93 mph in the 1/8 mile and hit 7.7's????????
Can they pull 1.75 second 60' times? I am all wheel drive, ya know.

I want a carb that gives me some more top end power, but can be used to trail riding, etc. I don't have a problem pulling any hills right now, except traction.
