What to you wear on your feet for protection when riding?

I haven't bought a set of riding boots yet. I've got to do that because if the old Zilla ever decides to kick-back worse than it has before, I'll be mending a broken foot. I've been lucky so far.

woooooo go pink pumps im all for those ones. great shifting technique and kick starting is great. DONT FOR GET THE EXTRA AERODYNAMICS. lol i like that choice

i have no choice but to go with the pink pumps because i ride with 370 all the time and well it's kind of a tradition.. J/K........LOL

Fox Forma's....

I think im gonna order some alpinestars tech10s soon. I bought some fox v3s at a 50% discount and they dont feel very strong to me and sand and stuff seems to get in them real easy.

I used to hate Fox's. I swore up and down I'd never get a another set. Went to the race shop to try on some Alpinestar 8 and 10's. They both felt really really good. The Fox Forma's were there, and I said, heck with it. I'll try em on. They were so freaking comfortable, and they fit my foot a little better. Not saying they're better but for my foot, they just gave me a better fit that I liked. I still love them. Tech 8's are nice also, I'm not a fan of the bootie thing.

i ride pavement and fast open areas so good ol' nikes are what i find comfy for me

Regular over the ankle work boots. Sometimes I'll play around in sneakers, but not if I'm gonna ride for more than a few minutes. Riding boots are too expensive and I'd feel too restricted I think. This coming from a guy who hates to ride with gloves on because I don't have as much "feel" of the levers, grips, and thumb throttle. If eyes could be fixed or replaced I wouldn't wear goggles either. I hate them too, but eyes are cool and I'd like to keep mine.

When I can't find my pink pumps I resort to ThorMX riding boots.
