My cousins had a Big Red and a 250R trike and after riding those at age nine I was hooked. Got my first quad,a YFM225, when I was 11.

I always rode, before I was a toddler my parents would each take a child (me and my bro) for rides all the time. Around 2 i could reach on my suzuki 50 2stroke trike. The an atc70, fourtrax70, big red 200, 250sx, blaster, another blaster, bought the triz, sold blaster and got the shee. Happy memories, and plenty more to come.
I got some funny pictures of when we were little and riding, might post em some time.

Toys were hard to come by in the little hillbilly area I grew up in. As they were so new to the market we only got to see pictures of them in the car magazines. We simply built our own minibikes and converted old streetbikes into dirt machines.

I got to test the new ATC90 right off the showroom floor and was hooked. Even so, it was 1980 before I bought my first new machine. It was a holdover CR125M from '76 that hadnt sold since it was a little beat up from being a dealer test ride bike.

In 1983 I got to drive a Kettencrag, a german WWII military vehicle that has a mini open-topped tank chassis and a motorcycle front end. I enjoyed that so much I figured the first ATV that hit the scene that came even close would be mine. I'm still waiting for something like it to be worth buying.

Been riding for over 35 years.
