A mag/cat combo is a fantastic idea. I'll pass on seeing 370 in a thong.

great idea bunny. another thought is to have a 2 stroke technical section where readers could ask they're tech questions to a 2 stroke expert and have jim from passion racing aka "passionre" on here and or denny aka "rocketboy" be the ones that give the advice or answers if they would be willing to.which i'm sure they would.

All sounds good.......so when do we start? The only thing I would not include would be negative reviews of a product....in a worst case scenario, someone who makes said product could interpret it as slander, and have the mag shut down...you just never know in this day and age....I don't want anyone to lose their ass over a fan-zine...... but, I got your first DIY article:"Build your own leak down tester"......Just made one at work.........

ya, i posted in this thread exactly what you said, and i totally agree. no slander. i said the consumer can do the math. i will only promote positive and the buyer can figure it out from there with their own compare and contrast against what's printed.

and the DIY. awesome. wanna take pictures for me? and send me a rough draft. PM's would be better as not to clutter up the thread.

I think your ideas are good to. your suggestion of where and what to buy is awesome. i would make sure we covered everyone in different articles. i think focusing on a race companies assets and the positive things they have to offer the 2stroke community would be a better way to start instead of negative compare and contrasts. when you put the good stuff out there for everyone to see but don't promote the less productive things - people can do the math on their own.
and also.... i will try and get ahold of Jim later today and pitch him that idea.

][/quote] I think thats a great start but I think you should also have a special project each issue it dont even have to be huge, I mean you'd be surprised how many guys dont know how to clean there carbs properly, The maintenence on a 2stroke is all most endless from cleaning carbs to spliting a case things like that would be very valuable to some people.
