that's a good idea.....

kind of a blurb type page.... it could be a maintenance/mini shop project....

it could be titled something clever like " TO DO LIST" with the background/layout of the page looking like a lined sheet of notebook paper and underneath the script of a real person's handwriting for the chore of the day..... it could consist of cleaning carbs and spraying air filters with a few before and after pics... the little but important 2stroke stuff.... we might even be able to get away from 2stroke stuff occasionally on this section. i would make sure it didn't become something else altogether, but we could also do stuff like trailer maintenance or storage or shop keeping.

these are the kind of ideas i need. you know how every mag has their usuals...... this is an excellent idea for a mainstay.

but if you were talking about big projects like whole bikes i posted a comment about that in the start of this thread... maybe like 2 or 3 projects per issue...

i'm not sure if people would like to see the finished products in one lump article in chronological order, or if a play by play per issue would be more apt. what do you guys think? i'm leaning toward one lump article... mainly because i'm not sure i know of anyone personally willing to contribute who also has the fundage to keep a magazine project fast paced enough.... this ain't overhauling with unlimited money lol....

well you could have a month to month issue as long as you have people to write. that's why i'm say we need 3-6 writers, and ads to take up some space (maybe). maybe get some manufacturers support???

This is going to be an aswome magizine that I would buy and that maintenance/min shop project idea could be called 2s to do's. I think there should be a spot in the magizine that discusses about uneeded laws and places that are being clossed and what can be done to stop this from happing.

As MX86 said there should be reviews on parks. Anyone who goes to a certain park often could give information on cost, what to expect, what is available, etc. Have some pics with and then that will give more options of where to ride for everyone.

Any new mod someone gets can be subject to review, so there should be plenty of reviews.

Also, anyone that races competitively can post their set-up, why they like it, and how well it works.

ya... we definately need more writers. i think Ed Gein is going to do a DIY write up for us. I already have an idea for the next DIY section too. 370 made a bad ass tool for flywheels.

Kane said he would help with the Q & A section...... now we need some Q's lol....

we got kind of a rhyming theme going on cuz for the accessories reviews i thought of calling it, Ping With Bling or Bling And Ping..... you get the idea...

i think a competetive racing section is a must too... i agree with ya there....

and the park reviews is an awesome idea....
at the end of every review on each park there should be a paragraph stating the park's rules and views on 2stroke equipment.

i'm gonna expand on mike's idea and have a history of the 2stroke as a regular column. detailed descriptions from beginning to end. one item and one issue at a time.

and for yam's suggestion.... like a hodge podge of 2stroke factoids right? cuz i like that idea

yeah. that 2stroke diesel... i asked about it on the diesel site. no one really had alot of info.... good research i suppose.

I'll see what I can dig up on that engine and I'll try to come up with an article for ya. My A.P. english teacher wants us to get published in something this year, so I think maybe this might be a good way to make her happy.

what about a section that dyno test real results on different types of 2 strokes from stock readings to other mods so the readers could know real answers and print it with out opinion of people testig or magizine so no one is liable just post truth with documention
