E2S Magalog/Catazine

Ever since I've been a member of E2S there has always been idle discussion of an Everything2Stroke Magazine/Catalog.

I think that our site is large enough and credible enough to start one. I also think the market and interest for a 2stroke rag would extend beyond our forums.

The adverts would consist of existing E2S contributors. Amsoil, Flotek, GB Racing, S.B. Designs, Etc........ ( if the members allowed ) and that's why it would also be a catalog, hence the name magalog.

I would like to see seasonal articles.... sleds, duning, mx,sx season, flattrack season, etc....

To keep the general population happy i think a miscellaneous section would be apt. It would consist of new technology on random household items like chainsaws and weedwhackers vs. the infiltration of 4 cycle replacements.

Every issue could consist of 3 people's different projects and progress.

Trips and Events.

News.

Stories.

If you have any input feel free to speak up....

Oh Ya - and by "contribute" i mean write articles and take pictures. not give money.

I agree and think it would be a good idea. It would help out with people who can't get to a computer, and they can still see whats goin on in the 2stroke community. It'd also be great to be able to read a off road magazine that actually focused on two strokes. If you can find someone to set it up and get it on the press I'd gladly subscribe and help out where I could.

that would be great, ill admit i am a subsriber to ATV sport and Dirt wheels, but as we all kmnow, both are 99.9% based around fuckin 4 strokes, except for the adds and shit for sale in the back, lot of banshee/blaster kits.. but thats it..a 2 stroke magazine would kick ass.. i would love to read about peoples rides here, and what went into them, and opinons/facts from guys who know their shit as to what to buy/ tuning ect... i think its a great idea. do it

an E2S magazine wouldn't be swayed by sponsors because I would be doing the footwork and the paper i'd be using would be from my mom's business. the adverts would depend on members - so that's no thing.

I think your ideas are good to. your suggestion of where and what to buy is awesome. i would make sure we covered everyone in different articles. i think focusing on a race companies assets and the positive things they have to offer the 2stroke community would be a better way to start instead of negative compare and contrasts. when you put the good stuff out there for everyone to see but don't promote the less productive things - people can do the math on their own.

That'd be cool if we could have a product review section to show actual results of products, not what the manufacturer claims and a section that has not only places to buy parts but where to get work done such as motor work, powdercoating, custom work...etc.

i really think that would be a hit. i would love to see a E2S magazine. every trip every project it would be a hit. you have all of those other magazies that focus on 4 jokes but the 2 stroke is still alive and always will thanks to the people of this web site.
