bulding or buying a banshee...

About time for me to get my first banshee and im glad my car is about to be payed off so now its time for me to focus on my dream of a banshee.

I have never really gotten a straight answer on this so also can some people give me some info on the costs of building one from the frame up? (with mostly used parts of course)

Anyways should i save up 3k and find a half decent used one or build one from scratch

save up and buy a decent used one theres always good deals but dont go for the first banshee u see for sale unless its in mint shape bcuz there are some pretty nice shee's out there that are in nice shape !

Spend $1500 on a used one, $1500 on mods.......can't find one for $1500?......then you aren't looking hard enough.....

Yea i agree with ed you should be able to find one cheap.Ive seen tons in my area for 2000 or less ive even seen some 99 an up's for that cheap.So start looking around you will find something.

yea exactly im possibly gonna be picking up an older banshee my buddy has blown the top end out twice due to buying .80 bored jugs off ebay well ive gotten him down to aboyt $650 the thing is rolling chassis and pipes all it needs is the top end, so yea look real hard some old guys have these sitting in their barns and not using them

thanks guys its going to take me awhile to save up because i had a car i was going to sell for a couple grand but turns out I'm going to be using it myself so bummer lol i'd like to find one with something like a blown engine and just rebuild it that would be nice lol

I went ahead and bought one ready to run in excelent shape with mods on it for right under 3k. He also gave me all the OEM parts, spare quarts of oils etc. Like you said, it took a while to save but in the end, i was happy. I was even more happy once i rode it. I never road or even heard a banshee till i test drove the one i now have before i bought it.
