well, I like both. I started out learning riding dirt bikes, first bike was a ttr-125 (4 stroke) and rode it for a long time. then me and my brothers went in together and bought our first 4 wheeler, a banshee.

to me, I think a quad is a little more fun cause you can do alot of different stuff with it, like playin around doin dounuts and slidin around and stuff. and especially in the snow or sand its just a blast. on a bike its not really the funnest in the snow or mud playin around. but I do like a bike better for jumping and stuff. and a bike can get through some really tight trails that a quad is to wide for. and doin hill climbs with a bike is less risky cause all you gotta do is lay it over if you cant make it. different story for the quad

I prefer quads because you can ride all times during the year. i dumped my dirtbike like 4 times on black ice going down the road, one patch of black ice i hit at around 50mph an it slide out from under me, it was scary but then again fun. I really like both but i would choose a quad over a dirtbike anyday.

I say bike, then trike, then quad... In that order too... They all have there strong points IMO...Which type of machine I prefer really depends on where I am riding, and who I am riding with... It suck to ride a quad with guys who are riding bikes and vise-versa....
