Yea sometime this weekend I will start digging around, its been a while, bout 4-5 years. They are print outs from when i was building my Blaster. As far as other dynos from some of the countries top builders goes, well, which product do they push? If its V-Force its probably bias just for the sake of sales. With me, at the time, I was just a guy looking for the best overall product.

And yes, jetting was adjusted. I tuned for the V-Force first, ran it, then switched out for the G-3, tuned and ran it. The only difference in jetting that I can remember is that the G-3 required 1 size larger on the main jet.

But for now I have found some old pics on my imagestation account of both units that were tried out on my Blaster. These were pics I took for an identical debate from like 4-5 years ago.

Now look at the inlet side of the G-3s, pretty impressive.

Heres a picture of both units side by side, you can clearly see which one is superior in design and in material usage.

As far as which unit has more reed petal area goes check out the pics here.

not that i don't like seeing good arguments or anything, but the topic was about which reed cage you perferd and not trying to pursuade each other which one is the best....

Heres some pics of the damage that was done to my brand new race motor when my V-Force unit failed.

Now over the years I have met more than a few people that this has happened to. Given it doesnt happen every time to everyone, and there are lots of happy V-Force owners out there. But when you use a unit made out of plastic on your babies it is very much a possibility, especially on a fire breathing dragon of a race motor.
Some might think that because just about everything on my current bike is 1 Dir Racing products that I am some kind of salesman for them or something, this notion couldnt be farther from the truth. Im no salesman, I dont work for 1 Dir Racing, im just a guy like all of you that wants the best power producing and most reliable products on his/her bike.
And over the years ive found 1 Dir Racings products to fit that description like a glove. I dont see a penny from 1 Dir Racing, I dont do this for them, I do this for everyone out there so that no one has to go through the shit that I went through with faulty products and poorly built engines that did nothing but suck more and more money down the drain as part of a pesonal persuit to have a GREAT and powerful and reliable bike.

the Vforce is a 12 reeds vs the G3 at 6 reeds. the vforce would allow more air/fuel. the g3 looks like it is a longer reed cage and has a bigger spacer block in it. so your point?

aint shit without any printed proof to back it up

I dont know what to say on this one man, all I know is that my R has a G-3 reed valve on it and ive put over 500 miles on that reed valve and the petals are in perfect condition and the screws have never even almost came loose. I go over everything on my bike after each ride. Sounds to me like someone was just trying to get a free set of petals lol.

what ya saying? that the Vforce aint good for a race motor?

i run a yz250 with a works yamaha built race motor

and a IQ 440 with a factory polaris built race motor. and guess what is the ONLY reed cage they run in them? Vforce. i've run VF2's in my sks until last year when i went to the Screwless VF3's never had an issue except for one pedle breaking off. (my fault to not replace it the year prior)
