Did I Win The Race?

Here is the problem...as all of you know both Smkmup and myself have a big rivalry that we settle at the E2S SL Trips. The first trip Smk won the race between the both of us...and during the second trip Smk couldnt run b/c his bike broke the first day up.

I am saying that I won the race by default since he could not run or line up b/c he broke and he LOST.

He is saying b/c he never lined up...the race never happen and no one won the race or lost it.


but is it my fault he broke? so it should be considered a loss since he couldnt run me. On top of that all he got very sick that trip and wouldnt have showed up for the race anway...so does that also mean it would be a default victory for me?


So Help us settle or dispute....

I'll give you the win by default.... if a team shows up missing a few players and cant play the win is given to the opposing team! but this was supposed to be a race and technically he did not line up... tough call but you have bragging rights till the next sl trip

It's no fun to win by default and I don't really think you get bragging rights either. I had to run by myself at the drags this weekend at Quadfest because the other rider didn't show. It was fun but proved nothing more then the fact that I know how to gas and shift. I lost the next race to a Tecate 3 and I'm more proud of that race then the first. I would wait till the next trip and do it right.

hmmm...this is a tough one. im gonna say no go. settle it on the next trip. cant claim something that never happened.

i def would not start bragging about a default win...but i was un sure on how to call the race that never happen...since he broke i wouldnt no if that was a victory since he couldnt run...or if it was just tough luck and we could settle it next time

A race is a race! If you didnt race then how could you win? If I broke during a race atleast you could somewhat say you won....Do you want to brag that I broke and couldn't race? Doesnt sound like much to brag about...Yea, I beat smkmup cause his shee was broke...Sounds cool....

look like i said before.... if you guys dont line up to race and have the flag waved then there was never a race to run. even if his quad was broke then you should have lined up and raced yourself. maybe you would have won then. haha

Ok.. The way you word this whole thing makes you sound like a winner.
Use the word Postponed & it leaves the whole situation in neautral..

I gotta think about it before I drop that vote!
