Talking

Ok...which do you prefer? Do you love the feeling of jamming your thumb on the throttle like a psyco, counting each blister as a trophy, or do you enjoy the wrist cramp that you get from twisting the throttle with all of your fury and rage.

Default Thumb Throttle

I go for the thumb throttle. Think It's a bit more controllable but not sure never had a twist!
Stock throttle is uncomfortable, not too smooth & would tire me out.. I tuned it and better now.
But have seen and tried aftermarket mods that make that thumb throttle light as a feather!

Twist throttle in the dunes is okay, but in MX or desert racing or any kind of riding that has a more diverse terrain including things like continuous whoop sections, a twist throttle on a quad is an accident waiting to happen. I have the medical records to prove it lol.

As much as i like my thumb throttle it gets my thumb sore. I have the billet thumb lever and my hands being as small as they are still cramp up.

I'm thinking about going to the dual gasser but for the price, i think i will just get used to the thumb. I been barely riding my shee anyways. I sometimes wish my yz250 had a thumb so i dont rev to hell when i bring the front end up too much....backwards i go off of it.

once you rget used to a twisty youll love it and forget about a thumb. I hated my twisty at first cuz I had a bad accident and landed on the hood of my truck after tryin to pull my quad up into the back of it. but know I love it!!
