 I was under the impression powder coat is the "green" option to paint with no solvents from what I've seen the green options are like 4 strokes ! they suck ! I was also told it was just powdered latex paint electrostatically sprayed and baked to flow anyone old enough to remember oil based house paint vs latex well enough said Last edited by gh500; 08-25-2007 at 04:19 AM.      |

| Mines all paint only I didn't use a rattle can I used DuPont Chroma one single stage urethane paint, tough stuff!! If you prep frames and parts well enough the paint will hold up much better, I work in the automotive painting and bodywork business.

| IMO if you take good care of your bike then paint will hold up just fine... And if you bash it hard like I do mine... then PC is a complete waste of money... nothing is going to hold up to hard use... and with paint the touch ups/ and redo's are much cheaper... So I vote paint... |
