In my opinion, these drinks are all rip-offs. I work for a beverage distributorship, and these "energy drinks" do not cost much more to produce than a can of soda, yet they sell for 3-4 times the cost of soda. But, the companies that produce them are happy because of the extreme gross profit margin.

Cocaine's problems came mostly from claims on their website that made it seem as though they were "illegally marketing their drink as an alternative to street drugs (FDA)". From the people I saw buying it, and the ones I talked to about it (mostly highschool kids), they were buying it because the name was "cool".

i dont like the kaos monster. takes like crap. any other monster i like. the blue and the green taste the same except the blue is low carb.

I go to school at Michigan State, and I'm one of the officers of the Spartan Ski Club. In the past we were sponsored by Monster, but have since switched to RockStar. I'd have to say that I liked the Monster more, but the flavored RockStar's are pretty damn good too. Who the hell am I kidding, they are both fricken awesome, especially when you get as many as you want for FREE!
