~Should ATV owners be forced to obtain ATV insurance?~

F that!! No insurace is worth for a quad IMO. There locked up and just about unstealable where they sit. Alarm system on the doors and all.
My quads arn't even registered, and the title's arn't even filled out. I don't even like my neighbors to know that I have them, let alone the government!! I spend enough money on stuff for those quads, I'm not going to waste my money on that insurance crap!

Insurance for your ATV is good, but shouldn't be mandatory..

i think it deff has its pros and cons yes it would cover u if some 1 crashed into you but what about for all the people out there with no papers on there bikes this would cause an issue for them

you should have to but i think it is a great idea. just incase you hurt some one for your bike gets stolden. my dad just retired from being an insurance agent so we have insurance on anything you can think of so just my $.02

the insurance for my banshee is only $68 a year so i think it is worth it.

Atv insurance should not be required... the risks involved with riding at public places are your own choice...
If you are worried that someone may crash into you... stay at home...
If you are scared the bikes may get stolen... lock them up...
If you are afraid to get hurt... dont ride... or go get some medical insurance... its that simple...
Riding costs enough as it is...

That is cheap... But image what it would cost if it became manditory, and people were making claims left and right...

Alright what about something unexpected like a fire in your shed or garage or house.... the reason I say this is I had a beutifull blue 99 shee with alot of aftermarket shit and three rebuilds jeff you saw the bike it was real pretty ...some dick weed threw a cigarette out of the car window into some pine needles that burned up to my fence and lit the back of my shed on fire... i had 110 av fuel in a five gallone container that was drooping from the heat and i was not gonna run into a burning shed with fuel in it, i got a kid.. so the only thing i could do was watch my bike scream to death from the fire, from the end of a garden hose till the country lakes fire dept got there ... it fuckin hurt me but wasnt as bad as my HOME OWNERS telling me there not covering it! that bike was over a 5 thousand dollar investment for me and i got beat... so you take a chance i have a rider policy on my new bike
