Theres a big debate going on right now on weather or
not ATV owners should be required to obtain insurance
on their ATVs. Like every thing, there are pros and cons.
A con would be the obvious, expensive insurance fees.
Although, if I was in the dunes and some jack ass
bashes into my bike, it would be great know that he had
insurance to cover the damages that my bike would incur.

So, what do you guys think about this?

Here in Pa you are required to have insurance. I had a 01 Suzuki Vinson. I broke the frame at the shock tower from jumping it. I turned it in and they totaled it and paid in full. Now neither of my machines have titles so, no stopping for anyone I dont know lol.

I'd prolly get it if I had a title for mine but it's value is like 1/2 what I got in it but still.. if it was stolen it would be nice to get something out of it. That and if I insure it I can throw a triangle on it get a new wiring harness to get my lights working and ride it on the streets around here.. as long as I do 35mph - ha ha... I found the loopwholes and talked to people.. then the cops can't harrass me.
(I think I have to rig up a brake light and horn though)

PS. Sometimes I love living down here in redneck land.

So as much as I hate it when people tell
me that I have to do something...especially
the state, Im gonna have to say that it
would probably be a good thing. All us guys
who ride at large OHV parks, probably have
many storys about how weve seen drunk
riders and stupid people get in ATV collisions
with each other. I would like to be covered if
something like that happened. Right now, if
some jack ass smacks into me, I would have
to hunt him down and force him to pay for the
damages...

Yeah if you want to turn it in and have your insurance go up. Plus I forgot, I had a 500 dollar deductible
