~What gear do you start in while drag racing? ~

to to start your run! When drag racing,
what gear do you like to use on take off?

2nd for me.. prolly third this year with this 370 wheelie port.

i also go with 2nd gear. when running a stock tranny so you dont get caught in neutral.

depends on where im at.. sand its second.. dirt normaly 1st and pavement always first.

My 300r trike is geared high through tall tires and smaller rear sprocket, it's set up to launch in 1st and cross the finish in 4th in the meat of the power band on a 300ft dirt strip.

I'm geared on a 13 tth up front, 2nd goes by so quick.. I can only imagine 1st for me.
It would be useless, I pull it fine in 2nd. Prob bog out if I tried 3rd..

i run stock gearin.. i was tryin 1st at silver lake last year and gettin beat all the time.. switched up to 2nd and still where getting beat. lol. this year it may be a different story..
