I love LT's... But I feel honda has much better construction and quality control... Suzukis run great but I find the engine cases to be inferior and much fewer aftermarket options...

hmmm, i never had a problem with the cases on my LT engine. ive been into the bottom end twice and it always sealed up nice going back together. but both the LT and TRX engines are pretty much turds without porting with the LT having a slight edge in stock trim.

oldschoolzuk is on a distinguished road
Default A 2 strokes a 2 stroke

I own both a 1987 lt250r and an 86trx 250r and I love em both. The lt is by far a better trail machine for tight spots and fast cornering but the trx just dominates on the track. My lt was built for mostly sand and trails My trx was built for flat track and open course racing. When I have to give one up I will sell the trx only because they are worth more and are concidered THE best 2 stroke race quads made. But The lt has its own following and yes are getting harder to find in good condition. So my vote goes to the old school zuks.....................

You must have had some good ones... I never had much trouble with mine either, but I have worked on 3 or or 4 others that had severe misalignment at the cylinder base, had cracks, and or spun bearing journals...

lt cause of the fact that its considered a pretty rare bike compared to other bikes in general. i do believe though that honda and suzuki both have their pros and cons. aside from that i love the fact that if i take the decals off my bike, people ask wtf it is lol suzuki all the way whoop whoop
