he can afford either, I was just wondering what you all thought, eventually he is going to get both because he cant beat me, I think he is going to go with the stroker, porting and a bigger carb for now.

if your o na budget get the 3mill cran k and port the stock jug accordingly ,that way if you want the big bore down the road youve alreayd got a big piece of the puzzle taken care of and yo ucan jsut slap the jug donw on the cases and rock ,really both mods can make a huge power difference.... but if the porting is left stock it is probably only going to amount to 3 or 4 more hp

als o theres a good amount of power that can be made on a blaster by porting the cases (the right way) and base gasket to matc h the cylinder layout ,most people dont thin k to do that but theresa lot of material hanging up i n the way causing turbulence and stealing velocity and area

all the 240 blasters i have seen over heat really quick. i dont know about the strokers but i wouldnt think that they would over heat like the 240s. i would stay with stroked, ported, and carb. also if you want a little extra hp the lrd is a way better pipe.

HAS anyone else heard of 240 kits overheating? i second the stroker with port carb and reed. make for a good predictable machine

bang for your buck.... i agree... aggressive port or its not worth it...stroker cranks are relatively cheap... big bore jugs are where it's starts getting pricey.... cuz of the pistons, gasket kits, head rechamber.

3mm is the biggest stuffer. so less money cuz you won;t have to trench the cases. if you get a port job mild enough you won't have to buy a new carb. but i don't think its worth the money .. just go big and buy the carb.
