| 64 bit for sure thats what most of tha dual processors run

| I would run a 64 bit chip but 32 bit OS. Not many apps are written as of yet....and that changes quickly, to support 64 bit. 64 bit gets you more "future proof" if there ever is such a thing. I still refuse to run Vista or Office 2007, I think they're both that bad IMO.

| get vista 64 bit ultimate, itll run any 32 bit program but wont run any 16 bit, not like many people have those anyways, just some of the old games that came on floppies were 16 bit for an example, im running vista ultimate 64 bit and i like it much better than xp to be honest, 32 bit or 64 bit version, vista just seems more stable, also xp didnt like a quad core processor too much and thats basically why i think it wasnt stable, but if you have over 3 gigs of ram get vista 64 bit as i wasnt too impressed with xp 64 at all, just my 2 cents
