I relize that you ore only doing this for your own interest & entertainment.
However, If you could invest into a software program that calculates the angles. This could help you understand what needs to be changed for each condition. Also look up how to build a flowbench, These can be very useful
Also study flow dynamics & the theorys that apply, There is a ton of information online about this.
I know that this may be a bit much, but it will help you understand why you are changing these ports.

the cc specialist tool are the best.. the 90 degree to it is easy to break the colles.. the cast like in the cr 500 or the lt 500 are harder to contain the torque/ twist on the jug.. spme times on flee gay you can find the tools you need .. the cc specials is the same as fordome tools .. ps get a few sets of collets for the 90 degree cuz like i said if it grabs it will snap them ..
