your best bet is to polish the exhaust port, smooth everything out (as far an the bottom of the transfers go), and if the sleeve dosent match up, or line up with the ports coming from the crankcase, grind or file them smooth.

oh, and i am looking for some porting specs or cheap engine mods for a little more power.

from what i know is not enough ,i just do my own crap .i think i did my first set of car heard back in like 90 {ive been around a while }
but yes polish the exhaust .. and the transfer ports its nice if you can get in and polish at the bend of the angle where it turns to go into the cylinder on the outer wall of the trans ports , you can also go buy some longboard autobody paper and cut them into strips and loop them throgh the transfer ports and polish them buy hand back and forth some places sell paper by the roll holesale . also radius all ports . i usually radius the back trans ports so they actualy point up{not because i read the thread here that says to, you guys can come here and crack my 2 dt360's open i did long before i sighned up } this was an attempt at forcing out the exhaust . i think iread that about the old rotary valve engines porting technics a few moons ago is where i got it .
i usually knife edge the dividers like everybody else
i also want to attempt at using sand blasting media to do the transfer ports bends {black beuty slag} then attempt to polish em again by hand ..
bah tired need sleep ..
laterz

Flotek. You will not be disappointed with the results. He ported my trx and lightened the flywheel...very reasonable prices.
