Well i bought a 05 blaster off someone that just had it rebuilt an it was the same damn way i had to choke it with holding my hand on the back of the carb while rolling down the big hill we have an sometimes had to pull start it with the truck but once it got warm it fired right up, i sold the shitty bastard (blasters aren't shitty, just that one)

Check the compression. I'm assuming you're using fresh gas and oil in it, and have replaced the spark plug with a new, properly gapped one. If you just bought it, time to remove the carb and clean out every passage and jet. Blasters start real easy, they're low compression, small two strokes.

how do i check the compression??? and wuts the plug supposed to be gapped at...i always left it at factory gap...

Buy a compression tester (get a quality one, not a 10 dollar auto store cheapy), screw it into the spark plug hole, hold the throttle wide open...and keep kicking until the gauge doesn't go up anymore. Takes from 5 to 20 kicks often. Normally...the gap out of the box is fine. I try .028 on gas motors....
