Default $50 DMV Registration Fees

Yup, just got that in the mail today. Only got it for the Banshee, prob get the Blaster one soon.
Anyone else get their registration increased? Apparantly it's $50 for everyone straight up!
I suppose this is AGAIN, another Cali BS thing?

I got mine for the CR500 that I used to own. Just hadn't until today changed the release of liability. The sticker on the zilla is still good until June. I will get it registered then in my name. The trike will stay expired as I won't pay the money. The trick is to just ride where they don't check. It is straight up commifornia bullshit. If the money was used for it's intended purpose I would not ride without a sticker. Just another way to shaft the off-road community.

I have never been checked in Glamis as my bro-in-law never registered his trike. I do know that the main purpose of those stickers is so when your hauling your bikes around in the back of your truck, CHP can pull you over to check the status of the bike. They are using it as a registration to move your bike in the back of your truck or trailer from point A to point B. It's basically a license plate for your bike.
