Get as to the back of the seat and lean forward...put it in 2nd and take off.... I wouldent leave it wide open in 5th or 6th gear(which everones last) you might seize the piston

on the start move to the back, slowly ease of the clutch till you start to creep forward then keep it right there until the start.

Man I got a small little drag strip in my back 40 in the field...dirt track.
I can't put my ass all the way back cause i'll flip it backwards (like i did a week ago) i just sit and move back a little bit, but still lean over t he handlebars....otherewise it grabs and wheelies me right off the back.

Its a nice little track though, I gotta pack it down more before the frost sets in perminently

heres the hotsetup on dragging that i like to use ,snicker into second gear 3rd if your motor is builtup and can handle it,then sit forward as far as possible and as the flag drop approachs rev your bike to 80% throttle and let out clutch till you feel it grab and start moving bike a few inches hit front brake and hold it till flag drops then dump the clutch and brake simutaneously and youll launch because your clutch was already slightly engaged you wont stall also as you get into higher gears start leaning back as far as you can to track the ground and reduce wheel spin as you shift ,i also short shift theres no advantage at all by holding a gear longer than neseccary a dont keep it pegged for to long youll wad your bike
good luck if you lose ,lose to a 2 stroke
