Default Hillclimb events

This is in response to Allie's question of hillclimbs in our area. It sounds like you are in my area. Where are you from in eastern Ohio. I live right on the Pa/Oh border. Right beside the turnpike. There is a hillclimb in Johnstown Pa called Beaverdale you can look at it at www.beaverdalehillclimb.com it isn't an ama event though. Also there is a climb in Delbarton WV, there's a couple in Oh, one in dayton, i can't remember the other one. There's one in Indiana towards the end of this month. There's also one in New York. There was one in Weirton WV but they close it down at least for now, hope to open back up. You say that you are going to one pretty soon, where exactly at. If you have any other places in mind or anyone else around Pa Oh area let us know. Also are you a member of AMA at all, there's a lot of hillcimbs in AMA.

Thanks,
I am just south of the turnpike a bit.... We live just outside of Wellsville. (I probably know where you are at since hubby used to drive truck and we used to pike all the time.) I have friends in New Waterford. We ride at Yellow Creek all the time. We are going to the one in Delbarton, WV this coming weekend. It would be nice if they would open the one up in
Weirton again, that is less than 30 mins away. We are not yet members of AMA, maybe someday. My hubby has been riding for many years but we sold our quads in '98. It wasn't until last fall that we bought the ones we have now, so he is just getting back into things. As for me, this is all new to me, I am just learning to ride I got to climb a little bit on Sat. and for someone who is afraid of heights, I was lovin' it!! The more I do it the better it is getting. Thanks again!

We ride there as much as we can. It is only 10 mins or so away from our house. I can sit outside and hear people riding all the time. I will post the next time we plan on going. My daughter is playing T-ball and that is messing up some of my Sat. rides.

The first race of this year is going to be the 17th at Delbarton. We have a buddy who went to FL for the winter to work and he is meeting us there. Next month, I think my husband will be taking the LT and entering the hillclimb there.

We are planning a ride to Wellsville on Sunday May 16th. Let me know if you can make it and I will try to get a place for you to park without paying.

Well, we go in the gate that you get off from the wellsivlle exit. It has the little wood booth thing with the parking lot up anothe level. If you know where that is. We could come down that day, because we always try to ride on sunday's. We will come as long as we don't have a race that day. We could come down there and then sometime you will have to come up here to hillsville with us. Thanks for the offer.
