i just took my powervalve out and cleaned it. it was getting gummed up. doing what you said lanny. but i cleaned all the carbon of and now it works as if it were brand new. i have mined dialed to open at about 5500 rpms!

hmmmmmmm i would have to say adjust the powervalve have it ported and honed and rejetted and then if that dont work i dunno whats wrong.

Funny how a pinger will have a awsome mid-range. Ours does the same. I mean it will flat pull your gut's out. It runs super all the way threw, but just killer in the mid. I reather have that than just only up super high only. Depends on how and where we ride.
The dyno chart shows how their best in between 6500 - 8500 rpm anyway.

Its hard to remember sitting here but i think you put it in lined up with the line to the right of noon and rotate clock wize tightening the spring to the next line at about ten oclock for stock. I think thats right. Tighter makes it stay open longer giving you a longer torque band before it closes and looser = opposite i usually play with mine but on alky it doesn't really make a diff

whats the best 2 stroke performance shop to get my 1989 lt 250 quadracer done up by. Im looking to have a very fast lt. Any advice? I was thinking ducan but the guy seem to no like suzukis

Ive had an entire duncan motor before. Eliminator port, with dr pipe, carb everything except i had a rad valve the pyramid are crap. But it didnt run that great. Good but not for the money. The cylinder i have now runs much harder on gas and its ported for alky. I wouldn't go with any big company all you are is money.
