unfortunatly K&N corporation makes them for most all atvs but its kind of hit and miss for the dirtbikes,the ywork great but you may find that you ll need ot measure the stock one and buy a universal sized up version if you so choose ot get one .id make the race 500 feet on solid ground like asphalt so theres no excuses about traction then be sure not to wheely like an asshole and start in 2 nd gear ,also have a predetermined agreed end point /finish line ,that should limit the bullshit excuses ,he has a 38-40 horse choked down 4 poke and is 400 +pound (wet) weight ,while it may be new it is still just a single cylinder 4 valve four stroke like we have been seeing for years ,you wil lhave 45 horse in just over 200lbs and yo u have the ability to spool up and acclerate to a high rpm almost instantly and wit h a very low rotational mass add in the tal l gearing with easy h shifting tranny of a dirtbike and your at a big advantage .IMHO you will beat him for sure |
