Polaris vs honda

Ok so my friend has a Polaris outlaw 525 with one of those ktm engines in it. it has aftermarket pipes i think FMF. He wants to race me and he is a little cocky and very confident he will win. I have a 03 cr250 stock. we are racing about a 1/3 mile on this old gravel road. Do you think i'll be able to blast him away or beat him at all.

i heard those new outlaws are no joke i havent seen 1 in action but from what ive heard there bad ass

the 525 outlaws are no slouch when it comes to performance, that is a badass motor (even for a 4 stroke) and that year CR was not known for it's motor. it would definatly be a really close race. you have weight advantage. but if you miss a shift he'll be right there. they key for you is use the hole shot to your advantage. the gearing on the outlaw is longer. so it will take him a bit to build the momentum.

ive seen that bombardier can am renegade 800 quad smoke the outlaw 525, i personally never raced one yet but IM determined i would smoke one

AS determined as he is he hasn't been riding as long as i have and this is his first sport quad and first time using a clutch and he's only had it for about 3 months. he ways about 60 pounds more than me so ya i do have weight advantage somewhere other than the machines but i just want to beat him so he will shut his mouth.

do u think that ^ might help me beat him i've got the money and experience to install it so there is no problem there.

if you wanna spend money well worth it, pick up a set of VForce 3 reeds, and a Pro circuit exhaust. IMO that is by far the best bang for the buck.
