Where do you get your 104 octane at? Is it alot of difference over the 93?

yeah you can tell the difference, especially when u add Klotz additive because of the oxygen change. I get it from any VP dealer. Go to www.vpracingfuels.com.

Higher octanes should only be used if you have a High Compression Head (Cool Head.) I don't think you will get any benifit from running 104 without it. And it cost a lot more than 94-94 octane.

yeah thats true, see we run it in a CR 500 which we cant even kick start, we had to put a outboard starter on it. Yeah its unleaded and it does cost alot. But if you running a high compression motor, i would use that 104.

You are talking about the Klotz additive, what exactly is it? Or are you just talking about 2 stroke premix oil? Also, what all did you do to the 500 to beef the compression? Did you just shave the head, high comp. piston? Just wondering what all you have done to it. I just run 93 or 94 with yamalube and vp octane booster, it seems to work good for me. I also mix it 40:1, what do u mix at? Do you still have your rads on, or did you take them off?
