anyone race XC?

I was just wondering if anyone raced XC on here. i this year i am going to start racing harescrambles in the CRA circuit with a few friends of mine. i was wondering though about numbers. do you just get a number plate, and put whatever number you want on it then tell them what your number is when you sign in at the race, or do they give you a number?

i used to run a couple cra harescrambles a few years back, and they give you a number that theyll stick on your helmetand i think one on your quad somewhere, and everytime you go through the start/finish gate there is a person there to take your number...are you running a quad or a bike?

yea thats what i figured but wasnt sure...and god have mercy on your quad!!! i used to harescrambles on my LT and once i got my banshee i never had the heart to put it through one of those

yeah this will be the second year for one of my friends. he said it is pretty much like going to hell and back. but it should be fun though. my first race will be the may 22nd at big game. il let ya know what i think of it.
