My First SX Race

I got my first sx race today. I'm not very good yet, but I figure i'll give it a shot anyways. lol, Maybe i'll be the only guy that shows up and I'll win first!!

That's cool. There are plenty of harescramble races here @ the flying dutchman. I am thinking about running one just for the fun of it to see how it is. I just need to get mine all back together first. How did you do? Did you have a good time?

Oh I had a great time, No one came with me to take pictures or anything. I think i did very good for my first time racing, and probably 6th time riding a mx/sx track. I finished 2nd...which also happened to be last, lol. The guy who beat me was really good, he did a heel clicker over the finish line. I got the holeshot in the second heat. He had his choke on so his quad died at the first burm. lol, So I had a good lead, but I couldn't keep it, he caught up to me by the 3rd lap.

As for harescrambles, I suggest you try it. I used to race them with my 4 poke, and they are a hell of a time. a totally different kind of stamina between mx and xc though. I could race for 2 hours no prob xc, but I can barely do 4 laps in mx. just make sure you got good protection for your quad, its really rough on your ride.

yeah, i was using my banshee. thats my only running quad right now, my lt is being reborn. and i got a 4 poke that im' trying to sell but i keep breaking it.

oh your in the army huh? I'm in the air force, we should find a track halfway and go riding sometime.
